Start the New Year with a bang by joining the annual Polar Bear Ride in Portland, OR. This motorcycle rally by the Trinity Road Riders welcomes all participants and will include three ride options, complimentary coffee and donuts, and a fun get-together brunch.
Where, When, and Why
The upcoming 39th Polar Bear Ride in Portland, OR, will start at 10 am on January 1st, 2023, at Cycle Gear, 8930 SE Stark St. Sign-in will be open until noon, and participating bikers can opt for an individual or group ride.
The Polar Bear Run will end at Jimmy O’s Pizzeria on 1678 S Beavercreek Rd, Oregon City, where riders can enjoy fresh pizza or a sandwich.
You can purchase a Polar Bear Run 2023 T-shirt online or during the event. Part of the proceeds will go towards the Christian Motorcycle Association to fund motorbikes for pastors working overseas in countries with poor road access.
The Program for Polar Bear Run 2023
Riders who take part in the Polar Bear Ride in Portland can choose between three routes:
- Papa Bear: About 90 miles. Recommended for good weather and properly geared-up riders
- Mama Bear: A slightly shorter and easier route of about 60 miles
- Baby Bear: The shortest ride to Jimmy O’s Pizzeria. A popular option if the weather is poor.
