What Is the Missouri Vietnam Wall Run?
The Missouri Vietnam Wall Run is an annual group motorcycle ride that starts from three different locations:
- Springfield, MO
- St. Louis, MO
- Olney, IL
This group ride leads riders to the Missouri National Veterans Memorial in Perryville, Missouri, which features a full-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. This replica was completed in 2018, and the Missouri Vietnam Wall Run has taken place every year since then.
This group ride honors and remembers veterans who are still unaccounted for and always takes place the same weekend as the National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
The ride is completely free to participate in, and anyone can join at any point. Law enforcement officers help escort motorcyclists through the route.
Upon reaching the Missouri National Veterans Memorial, participants can enjoy food, drinks, and free concerts near the memorial. Most of the proceeds from this event benefit veterans organizations throughout Missouri.
