What a weekend in the Phoenix, Arizona area this past weekend. Three great motorcycle events made it the Trifecta of motorcycle events & the Law Tigers, America’s Motorcycle Lawyers was all over it.
Arizona Bike Week kicked off on Wed April 6th with concerts by Blackberry Smoke and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Thursday Warrant and Blues Traveler entertained the crowd, and Social Distortion, Ratt, and Buckcherry rounded out the weekend in the Rock Yard. One of the favorites of the Law Tigers was the School of Rock Sugar Skulls in the Handlebar Saloon. The Handlebar Saloon was right in front of our booth and we loved watching these young kids perform. We weren’t just impressed with the School of Rock, we also enjoyed the Pete Cummings Band, Tridon, Tribe, Drop Diezel, Analog Outlaws, Broken Toys, 74th. St Band and Metalhead.
Arizona Bike Week Was a Top Event
had non-stop entertainment. If there wasn’t a concert in the RockYard or on stage at the HandleBar Saloon there was an awesome stunt show going off somewhere on the grounds. Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale Drill Team, a premier twelve-member team that performs on the big Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles entertained at the ABW Bike Arena. FMX Freestyle Motocross Extreme Stunt Shows with the Brigade took to the sky literally with awesome aerial death-defying stunts with some of the most talented FMX riders in the world!
King Tony’s Busted Knuckles Stunt Tour was Presented by the Law Tigers. These guys kick-ass with their V-Twin Thrill Show performed solely on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Wheelies, acrobatics, burnouts, jumps, pyro, etc. These guys rocked it.
Jack Daniel’s had unwanted visitors with a beehive that formed on Saturday. They had to shut the area down and wait for the proper people to come and remove it. It’s amazing how fast that can happen. Never a dull moment at Arizona Bike Week!
It’s always great to see many of our old friends, Paul Yaffe’s Bagger Nation should be on everyone and anyone’s must-visit list. His creations are true artwork. Speed By Design, a company that specializes in building Bagger parts for Harley Davidson Touring Models never disappoints in regards to motorcycle eye candy. We always love to stop and say hello to Tony Murga of the Murga Boot Company – Tony Murga is not only an incredible talent but he is also quite the character. Stop by Murga Boots for custom boots, jackets, and some one-of-a-kind artwork. And if you are looking for unique jewelry you have to check out NightRider Jewelry. We love their designs and we love working with them at the various events. Look for all of our friends at the Laughlin River Run coming up at the end of April.
Buddy Stubbs Bike Week Bash
Buddy Stubbs Arizona Harley-Davidson hosted their annual Bike Week Bash and it drew quite the crowd. Admission was FREE and featured everything from the Two Acre Miller Lite Beer Garden, 3 Amigos Margaritas, a bikini contest, Museum Tours and live music all day. Tridon, The Walkins, Pete Cummings Band and the Ryan Sims Band kept the large crowd entertained.
Buddy Stubbs News: Racing legend Buddy Stubbs will be racing a few laps at the Law Tigers Arizona Mile, May 14th at Turf Paradise in Phoenix, Arizona. For more info head to https://www.arizonamile.com. Law Tigers will be there celebrating our 15th Anniversary. An event you will not want to miss.
Phoenix BikeFest kicked off with a huge bike night. A great crowd and a great way to kick off the weekend of events.
Phoenix BikeFest was loaded with A-plus entertainment including poker runs, factory demo rides, the Phoenix BikeFest Bike Show, a fashion show, and live music every day. The Beard & Tattoo contest on Saturday was a lot of fun. We got to watch a wedding take place in the Saloon prior to the Miss Phoenix BikeFest Contest where our very own Law Tiger Ari Levenbaum got to be a judge.
Ladies of Law Tigers Jordyn Rose won Miss Phoenix BikeFest 2016 and it was not because of Ari’s vote. He decided to abstain from voting for obvious reasons.
That’s a wrap for 2016. What an exciting weekend in the Phoenix – Scottsdale area of Arizona. Law Tigers are looking forward to another Trifecta Bike Week, BikeFest, and Bike Bash event(s) in 2017!
