Support local veterans and the Minnesota Veteran’s Home by riding in the annual Boots on the Ground Veterans Motorcycle Fun Run Sept. 16.
The Motorcycle Fun Run begins and ends at the Fergus Falls VFW Post 612 and Auxiliary. The events of the day include:
- 8 a.m. – Noon | Registration at Fergus Falls VFW
- 10 a.m. | Program Begins
- Noon | KSU
- 5:30 p.m. | Free-will Dinner at Fergus Falls VFW
- 6:30 p.m. | Gun Raffle to benefit Minnesota Veterans Home in Fergus Falls
- 8 p.m. | Asking For A Friend Live Band Performs
Proceeds from the day of the Run will fund supper outings to the VFW, Elk’s Point and Legion, as well as recreational outings to the Fargo Air Show, fishing trips, Friday nights at the I94 Race Track and other activities at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home.
The Boots on the Ground Veterans Motorcycle Fun Run began in 2014 to fund recreational activities at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home. This is the only fundraiser for the home, which provides more than 200 outings and enrichment activities yearly for veterans. For more information, visit their website.
