Combat Veterans Motorcycle Poker Run April 22

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Poker Run

If you love a good poker run, don’t miss the upcoming Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Poker Run happening April 22, 2023 at the Harley-Davidson in Lynchburg, VA. This event benefits veteran organizations in the area and offers the perfect opportunity to spend an afternoon riding and meeting fellow bikers.

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Poker Run

A poker run will take place rain or shine on April 22, starting at the Harley-Davidson of Lynchburg.  If you’ve never participated in a poker run, these events invite you to ride your bike to five predetermined stops and pick up a random poker card at each stop. At the end of the run, you’ll have your poker “hand,” which you can use to compete for prizes.

The Combat Veterans Virginia Poker Run will offer prizes for high and low hands and a 50/50 drawing. The poker run will take place from 9am to 1:30pm, followed by an after-party at American Legion Post #16.

After the bike competition, enjoy barbeque from Mission BBQ, live music from Thunder Ridge, and patch and craft vendor booths. If you’re traveling from out of town, you can join the group for a Friday Night Meet and Greet and stay at the hosting hotel, Homewood Suites by Hilton.

Proceeds Benefiting Veterans Organizations

Most poker runs raise money for good causes, and the Combat Veterans Virginia Poker Run is no exception. Registration is $20 for single riders and $30 for a rider with a passenger, and all proceeds go to local veterans and veteran organizations.

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 27-11 is the host of this event.
