What Is the Crash Course?

Road Guardians is an organization that teaches accident scene management courses throughout the country. On February 11, Road Guardians will be in Elgin, IL, teaching the 100-series crash course. 

This course is the organization’s most popular class. You’ll learn the most important steps you can take in the first five to 30 minutes after a crash to reduce injuries and fatalities to motorcyclists. 

This course will cover the following information:

  • Safe helmet removal
  • Jaw thrust rescue breathing
  • Controlling bleeding
  • Moving the injured
  • And more

At the end of the course, you’ll have the option to purchase trauma supplies you can keep in your motorcycle’s storage compartment to assist with your crash response. 

Registration & Details

This crash course for motorcycle safety in Illinois will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the American Legion Elgin Post. It’s closed for members of the L.A.M.A Elgin chapter. 

The class costs $35 per student, a generous discount compared to the typical $99 registration price. You’ll receive all class materials, including a booklet, certificate with CEs, and patch.
