The wildly popular FREE motorcycle drag racing event, the Baker Drags makes its annual appearance at Sturgis from 5:30 – 11 p.m. August 9 at the Sturgis Dragway, all part of the raucous celebration at Sturgis and sponsored by the Law Tigers, BAKER Drivetrain, Brock’s Performance, Ramjet Racing, D&D Performance, Dream Rides of Tennessee, Trask Performance and S&S Cycle.
The theme is FREE – as in free food, beverages, racing and entry into the event, which is open to all two- and three-wheeled vehicles. Prizes include:
- $500 gift certificate from Brock’s Performance for the fastest ride-in bagger (bagger MUST be ridden to and from the event)
- 1982-2000 FXR John Jessup TDR Pro Series Saddlemen Seat to fastest FXR
Riders must have a helmet, closed-toe shoes, gloves and a jacket to participate in the drags. The Sturgis Dragstrip is located at 20523 HWY 79 in Sturgis, SD.
