The Illinois DuQuoin Mile motorcycle race event at the Duquoin State Fairgrounds “Magic Mile” flat track promises to be an exciting event this year. Race bikes on the dirt track will compete to qualify for the next round of races in the American Flat Track series. The experience is different from motorcycle road racing, and dirt track racing fans from all over North America come to AFT’s events each year.

When: Saturday, June 17

Where: DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, 655 Executive Dr., Du Quoin, IL, 62832

Event Schedule:

  • 3pm: Gates open to fans
  • 3:30pm: Practice races begin
  • 5pm: Qualifying races begin
  • 6:10pm: Pits open for fan walk
  • 7pm: Opening Ceremonies
  • 8:55pm: Parts Unlimited AFT Singles Main Event (10 minutes + 2 Laps)
  • 9:30pm: Mission SuperTwins Main Event (14 minutes + 2 Laps)

Don’t miss a day of clay track racing at the Illinois DuQuoin Mile motorcycle race event on June 17. This race is part of a series for the 2023 Mission Foods AMA Flat Track Grand Championship amateur nationals, bringing in fans from across the region to watch racers compete.

Race speeds can exceed 140 mph on straightaways and over 90mph on corners. The Mission SuperTwins class features twin-cylinder 649-900cc motorcycles, while the Parts Unlimited AFT Singles class features 450cc production-based motorcycles customized for flat track racing.

These qualifying races are the next step in determining this year’s AFT Champions in flat track racing. Come out for a day of high-speed clay track racing on Father’s Day weekend for the 2023 Illinois DuQuoin Mile motorcycle race qualifiers.
