Honor a Legacy of Giving During the 3rd Annual Toy Run Honoring Squirrel and Sherry Nov. 18

The 3rd Annual Toy Run Honoring Squirrel and Sherry begins at 9:30 a.m. at North Monroe Baptist Church, with a procession through Monroe to Warhawk Harley-Davidson® to drop off toys. Join the Law Tigers for this holiday motorcycle run and bring a new, unwrapped toy, or register to ride for $10. All proceeds go towards the purchase of additional toys.

The holiday motorcycle run honors the giving legacy of Squirrel and Sherry Langston, owners of Squirrel and Sherry Motorcycle Shop of West Monroe. Squirrel died in 2016, but his legacy of a deep commitment to the community lives on in the Toy Run. He was honored to receive the Ladies Humanitarian AM VET Award of the Year in Washington, D.C., and was one of the founders of the MDA Toys for Tots campaign in Monroe. Langston’s shop was also featured in the Season 4: Hot Tub Grime Machine episode on Duck Dynasty.

The Toy Run begins from the 165 parking lot of North Monroe Baptist Church, with KSU at 11 a.m. for the short ride to Warhawk Harley-Davidson. Once there, toys will be dropped off and a luncheon will be held. North Monroe Baptist Church is located at 210 Finks Hideaway Rd. in Monroe, LA.
