Nevada County Toy Run

Looking for a biker-friendly food and toy run near Sacramento this holiday season? On Saturday, December 10, the Nevada County Toy Run rides again in full swing after a challenging couple of years during the pandemic.

Nevada County Toy Run Details

The Nevada County Toy Run is an annual food and toy run near Sacramento for bikers. Decorate your bike for the parade to the fairgrounds, donate a toy or two, or hand out turkeys and hams to spread the holiday cheer to families who need it most.

What

All bikes with license plates are welcome. There is no fee, but you must bring at least one new, unwrapped toy or a cash donation. Teenagers are often overlooked, so toys and sports equipment for older kids are especially appreciated.

If you join the run, remember: You are the parade, so wear holiday clothing or decorate your bike or helmet. Dressing up isn’t mandatory but helps amp up the holiday spirit.

When

Saturday, December 10, at 9:30 am, rain or shine!

Kickstands up for the parade will be at 12 noon.

Who

The 2022 Nevada County Toy Run benefits the Head Start program, local community agencies, and families and children in need.

Where

This year’s run returns to the original pre-COVID route. Bikes meet at the Eric Rood Center at 950 Maidu Ave., Nevada City, CA 95959. The procession will run through Mill Street in Grass Valley and end at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, where riders will drop off toys and food for the waiting children.
