Our Favorite Biker Bars in Florida

Florida has more than its fair share of beautiful coastal highways and warm backroads you can spend hours exploring. The Sunshine State also has an abundance of delightful biker bars where you can stop in for a bite to eat and a good time along the way.

If you’re rolling through Florida looking for a biker-friendly restaurant with amazing food and an even better atmosphere, look no further! Here are some of our favorites.

Scully’s Tavern

Located in Miami, Scully’s Tavern will check all of the boxes if you’re in the mood for an outstanding biker experience. Scully’s is a favorite for old-school, leather-wearing cyclists who love their rides.

The bar has a cozy atmosphere with wooden furniture and green accents, pool tables, and classic Floridian decor. Scully’s is also Guy Fieri-approved as a spot on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, so you know the food here doesn’t miss.

Alabama Jack’s

At Alabama Jack’s, you’ll find conch fritters so delicious they put other South Florida restaurants to shame. The whole menu is a hit here, with tasty crab cakes, blackened fish combos, and seafood samplers for the adventurous eater.

Alabama Jack’s is right on the water and features outdoor seating, so you’ll enjoy a beautiful view while you stop in for lunch. In 2021, Thrillist listed Alabama Jack’s as a must-visit in Key Largo, Florida.

Flossie’s Bar and Grill

A Fort Lauderdale gem beloved by locals and tourists alike, Flossie’s Bar and Grill hosts live bands every Sunday. Established in 1975, this Florida favorite has ice cold drinks, excellent pub food, and some of the friendliest bartenders around.

The relaxed atmosphere here is welcoming to all, making Flossie’s an unfussy spot for bikers looking for a happy slice of Florida life.

HandleBars Bar and Grill

HandleBars is a top choice for bikers, especially on the weekends. Located just above Palm Beach in Tequesta, FL, HandleBars Bar and Grill is just off U.S. 1 and Florida A1A. As the oldest bar in Tequesta, HandleBars has quite a reputation to maintain. Formerly Judy’s Highway Cafe, HandleBars was saved by its patrons in 2020, dedicated to keeping Judy’s legacy alive.

Every weekend, you’ll find Harleys and hogs lined up by the picnic tables out front. Stop in for some of their epic “full throttle” pizza.

Harry’s Banana Farm

Recently named one of the best bars in Palm Beach, Harry’s Banana Farm is an excellent choice for a good time. Once referred to as “the sleaziest bar in the country,” Harry’s is a favorite spot for locals in particular.

If dive bars are your speed, you’ll love Harry’s Banana Farm. A highlight at Harry’s is the sign out front — which has gotten the bar plenty of attention — that constantly shows off a new joke or brazen political commentary. You can also get fried alligator and cold beer at Harry’s all week.

Old Key Lime House

In Lantana, FL, you’ll find the largest Tiki bar in South Florida: Old Key Lime House. Right on the Intracoastal Waterway, this Florida gem features mouthwatering locally caught seafood and a key lime pie to die for, along with some of the best sunset views in the state.

Old Key Lime House is a family-owned establishment and Florida’s oldest waterfront restaurant. The laid-back, Key West-inspired atmosphere promises a relaxing time with cold, refreshing cocktails and delicious food. Stop in for lunch or dinner during the week, and don’t miss brunch on the weekends.

Sandbar

Bikers looking for a 21-and-up spot will love Sandbar. This oceanfront bar is right on the beach, with fresh daily food and drink specials. Effortlessly blending the energy of a peaceful day at the beach and a hot nightclub, Sandbar is a perfect spot for beach-going bikers.

You’ll find special guest DJ performances, VIP party options, bottle service, and more at Sandbar.

Mickey’s Tiki Bar

If you’re after a hidden gem of a spot, head over to Mickey’s Tiki Bar in Pompano Beach. Mickey’s is a classic biker bar with a rocking atmosphere and a full calendar of events. Every Sunday, you can stop in for free breakfast and church. “Support your local biker church” and then grab a Bloody Mary at Mickey’s.
