1. Aransas County Grand Tour Route

The Aransas County Grand Tour route is an all-encompassing 40-mile ride that will take you through the island’s top attractions. The tour begins in Cove Harbor Marina and encompasses:

  • Aransas pass
  • Fulton
  • Rockport
  • Conn Brown Harbor
  • Howard Murph Park
  • Fulton Beach Rd
  • Rockport’s historic town center
  • Water Street
  • And much more

As you travel through this route, you’ll experience everything from coastal views and expansive ocean horizons to quaint towns with excellent shops and restaurants. You can easily complete the drive in one day, though we recommend stopping in Rockport and Fulton for lunch or shopping.

2. Corpus Christi Bay Trail

The Corpus Christi Bay trail takes you through the town’s top attractions, including a nine-mile waterfront stretch of road. You can begin the drive at the Corpus Christi American Bank Center arena and continue following until you reach Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi, where the road turns into an off-trail experience, only suitable on foot.

The tour connects the Art Museum of South Texas, the Corpus Christi arena, the Museum of Science and History, and all of the city’s most popular parks together, making it the perfect drive for anyone hoping to take in what Corpus Christi has to offer. You can enjoy the refreshing coastal air as you fly down Ocean Drive on your motorcycle, taking in the expansive ocean scenery.

3. Live Oak Peninsula Route

The Live Oak Peninsula route begins in Howard Murph Park, a relaxing waterfront hang-out spot. The drive travels through the Live Oak Peninsula, which features Rockport Beach and Fulton Harbor. We recommend taking your time along this 25-mile drive to walk along the beach, soak in the views, and enjoy the fresh ocean air.

4. Rockport Beach Route

If you’d rather just stick to Rockport Beach, we recommend this route, though you can easily combine it with other Port Aransas motorcycle rides, like the Live Oak Peninsula drive. Beginning at the breathtaking Rockport Beach, this drive will take you through the Rockport harbor and shoreline, downtown area, historic Water Street, Key Allegro on Aransas Bay, and various foot trails. At only 13.5 miles long, you can easily take plenty of stops to check out local shops, enjoy lunch, stroll along the coast, or anything else.

5. Fulton Harbor Tour

The Fulton Harbor tour begins in Fulton Harbor and encompasses Copano Bay, Aransas Bay, and Howard Murph Park. If you prefer the sound side of things, this 11.5-mile drive may be perfect for you. You can fish at Fulton Harbor, walk along the dock, enjoy live music, or hop onto your motorcycle and begin the ride.
