- Take Farm Road 12 to Farm Road 2325.
- Pass by Jacob’s Well Road — an opportunity for a quick detour to Jacob’s Well, a natural area with an underwater cave and vast ecological beauty.
- Farm Road 2325 turns into Farm Road 165.
- Continue on to US-281 N, then Farm Road 32.
- Stop at the Devil’s Backbone Scenic Overlook for photos of the sprawling views below.
- Farm Road 32 turns into Farm Road 12.
