October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and local charity Bikers 4 Boobies AZ is holding it’s annual ride and event Oct. 14 in Scottsdale, AZ. Join the Law Tigers, Harley-Davidson® of Scottsdale, Dirty Dogg Saloon, Iron Horse Corral, J&P Cycles, Geico and others in support of breast cancer research and services for women fighting this deadly disease.
Pre-register now for the event and receive entry into the Bingo Route; the first 225 pre-registered participants will receive meals at J&P Cycles and the Dirty Dogg Saloon. Cost is $30 for riders and $40 for a rider/passenger. If you are not riding, there is a suggested donation at the gate of $20 for the after party. Must be 21 and older to attend the after party at the Dirty Dogg Saloon. The order of events for Oct. 14 are:
- 10 a.m. | Check-in Opens at J&P Cycles | 8606 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ
- Participate in one of three rides: Ride A, B, or the Bingo Route | Complete for prizes
- 2 p.m. | Gates Open at Dirty Dogg Saloon | 10409 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, AZ
- 3 p.m. | Live Music starts
- 4 .p.m. | Turn-in Bingo/Route Cards at the Dirty Dogg Saloon
In addition to the rides, there will be food trucks, Bra Auction, Raffles and a Silent Auction.
Bikers 4 Boobies began more than 12 years ago by founder Shelley Martin, who wanted to make a difference in the community and chose to focus on breast cancer research and support. Since that time, the non-profit organization has raised more than $500,000 for organizations including Casting for Recovery, M.O.M.
