Griz’s Drive-In Movie Bike Nite Potluck Dinner

Motorcycle Monkey & Santee Drive-In Theatre
If you’re looking for a casual event where you can get to know other motorcycle enthusiasts in the San Diego area, you’ll want to check out Griz’s Bike Nite. This potluck and drive-in movie night will start in the Motorcycle Monkey parking lot, then move to the Santee Drive-In Theatre on Woodside Ave.
Be sure to bring a folding chair, your FM radio, and a dinner item to share at the potluck. Starting at 6:00 p.m., you’ll have the chance to enjoy delicious food prepared by other attendees, get to know bikers in your area, and show off your bike. Then, you’ll ride with the attendees to the drive-in theater to watch a film together.

Biggs Harley Davidson in San Marcos
May Ride is an annual charity ride in San Marcos, California. This ride begins at 10:00 a.m at the Biggs Harley Davidson and ends with a fun after-party featuring live entertainment, contests, and other activities. All funds from the event go to the Armed Services YMCA, which enhances the lives of military members and their families.
May Ride has grown significantly since the first event took place in 2003. Today, over 500 riders typically participate in the group ride, while more than 5,000 attendees visit the after-party. 2022 marks the 20th-annual May Ride, and event organizers are working to make this event the best yet.

Charity rides present the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun group ride and raise money for a worthy cause. If you’re looking for a popular charity ride in San Diego this year, we recommend checking out Rides4Alz.
Rides4Alz is an Alzheimer’s charity ride taking place on July 9. 100% of the funds raised from this event will stay in San Diego County to support Alzheimer’s research. Additionally, a portion of the funds will help people living with dementia and their caregivers.
You can either register as a solo rider or join a team, then ask family members and friends to sponsor your ride. All of their monetary sponsorships will go toward Alzheimer’s assistance as well.

Ride to Live – Motorcycle Training

Even if you’ve been riding a motorcycle for several years, it never hurts to brush up on your skills. On several days throughout 2022, the Coronado Police Department will present Ride to Live motorcycle training programs designed to help bikers avoid collisions.
These seven-hour classes feature hands-on training that will challenge your riding skills and enhance your safety on the road. Better yet, the course is entirely free and includes lunch.
