Thunder in the Hill Country

The Thunder in the Hill Country rally will take place in Bandera, TX, “The Cowboy Capital of the World,” from March 24-27, 2022. This bike rally includes a Twisted Sisters guided ride, contests, a poker run, biker games and shows, concerts, vendors, food trucks, and more. The poker run requires no additional fee and will include cash prizes.

The bike show has various categories, such as American Touring, People’s Choice, American Cruiser, Antique, Sport, and more, with awards for winners. The rally site offers tent and RV camping options.

Fredericksburg Vintage Motorcycle Show

The 6th annual Vintage Motorcycle Show in the historic German-settled Hill Country town of Fredericksburg, TX, will take place on May 7, 2022. This event caters to all enthusiasts of vintage and classic motorcycles, with a vintage bike show displaying models dating from 1939 and earlier through the 1980s. Winners of all classes will gain awards.

Spectators can enter the event by donating to the local food bank. The Vintage Motorcycle Show sponsors the Hill Country Run, a motorcycle rally that helps fund community youth programs.

ROT Rally

The annual 25th ROT (“Republic of Texas”) Rally will take place in Austin, TX, from June 9-12, 2022. The Travis County Expo Center will host the event, which has seen some ups and downs in recent years. Despite ownership changes and structural shifts, the ROT Rally remains a sizable event expected to attract over 10,000 bikers.

The event organizers welcome all wheels and aim to provide a bonding experience for motorcycle and RV enthusiasts who free-ride across U.S. roads. The rally will include a Newly Rig Show, seminars, and an All-Wheels trivia.

Lone Star Rally

The Lone Star Rally, which takes place on the coast in Galveston, TX every year, is a massive motorcycle event that attracts up to 400,000 bikers from all across the country. The next Lone Star Rally will run from November 3-6, 2022, with the main venue on The Strand in downtown Galveston.

Traditionally, the Lone Star Rally program includes a bike parade down The Strand, motorcycle shows, bike build-offs, Biker Rodeo, big-rig displays, motorcycle rides, and much more.
