With a temperate climate and 284 days of sunshine per year, we can’t think of a better place to connect with fellow motorcycle riders than Los Angeles.
Whether you call Los Angeles home or you’re just passing through, mark your calendars for these can’t-miss events. We picked one for each month of the year (starting in March), so you’ll have something to look forward to year-round.
March – ABATE Thousand Oaks/Ventura Bike Night
Short for American Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education, ABATE is dedicated to preserving the rights and freedoms of motorcyclists to enjoy the open road. This event is an opportunity to connect with other riders while learning about safety, riders’ rights, and more.
Address: Azar’s Sports Bar and Grill, 2215 Michael Dr, Newbury Park, CA 91320
April – U.S.A. Bikers’ Festival: Blessings of the Bikes
This event is happening for the first time in 2022, but the organizers plan on making it an annual event. Part history lesson, part concert, and 100% awesome, the goal of this event is to bring riders together while introducing non-riders to the joys of riding motorcycles.
Bring your dancing shoes because there will be live music, cigars, artwork, and even a fashion show.
Date: 4/16/22 – 4/17/22
Address: Plaza de la Raza, 3540 North Mission Road, Los Angeles, CA 90031
May – Vintage Bike OC May Meet
You’ll have to head a little bit south to Orange County for this one, but we promise that the ride is worth it. You’ll see some of the best vintage motorcycles in the area, and if you’ve got one of your own, bring it.
If you can’t make it to this May event, you’ll be happy to know that this event happens on the second Sunday of each month.
Address: Castaneda’s Mexican Food, 19071 Brookhurst St, Huntington Beach, CA 92646
June – Sergeant Ron Helus “Ride for The Blue”
Get ready to ride. This event honors all first responders, and particularly Sergeant Ron Helus, who was fatally wounded at the Borderline Club shooting in 2018. The ride starts at 8am and is scheduled to last until 4pm. All proceeds are donated to charity.
Address: Simi Valley City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Rd., Simi Valley, CA 93063
July – So-Cal / Long Beach Motorcycle Swap Meet
This event could be the largest shopping center known to motorcyclists. Browse the wares of hundreds of vendors and discover everything from mainstream gear to hard-to-find parts. If you enjoy searching for buried treasure, this is the place to be. The best part? The swap meet happens every month.
Address: Veterans Memorial Stadium, 3700 Faculty Ave., Long Beach, CA 90808
August & September – 45th Annual Three Flags Classic
An event that’s been around for this many years has gotta be good! When you register for this ride, you’ll be in the company of hundreds of other riders making a journey from Mexico to Canada. The event organizers emphasize that this is a ride, not a race. You’ll follow a pre-determined route and enjoy special banquet dinners at the start and finish of the ride.

Location: Mexicali, Mexico to Penticton BC Canada
