For the sixth year running, thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts will gather at the Handlebar Corral for the biggest and busiest rally in North Carolina’s Great Smoky Mountains from June 30 to July 2.

Thunder in the Smokies in Maggie Valley, NC, is an annual motorcycle rally open to both vintage and modern motorcycle models and riders of all ages. The event certainly lives up to its name: Expect the talented performers and bike game participants to make a whole lot of noise.
You can test out your skills in the bike games, compete in the bike show, or stock up on gear courtesy of the awesome lineup of vendors.
If you want to explore the stunning local area — on your own or with your motorcycle club — the organizers offer tour rides on the Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Cherohala Skyway, and other scenic roads.
