If your summer bucket list includes a tour of the best motorcycle roads in Minnesota, you’ll want to participate in this year’s Hero’s Ride on July 15. Head on over to Rochester Harley-Davidson to register on the day of the event and hit the open road.

 About The Hero’s Ride

This motorcycle ride is dedicated to the remembrance of Minnesota’s fallen military and LEO heroes, and all proceeds are donated to local veterans’ organizations. The focus is on heroes who have sacrificed since the monumental events of 9/11, which created a snowball effect with approximately 1.9 million American troops fighting the war on terrorism since 2001.

One of the heroes who will be honored during this year’s ride is Sgt. Nicholas Dickhut, from Stewartville, Minnesota, who tragically lost his life in Iraq in 2012 at the young age of 23.

Other heroes the ride honors include peace officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. This ride memorializes and remembers each and every person who heroically risked it all to preserve American freedom.
