Check out any of these motorcycle-friendly restaurants in San Antonio, TX.
The Dakota East Side Ice House
This community hot spot serves cold drinks, sandwiches, tacos, and barbecue. The diverse eatery offers dog-friendly outdoor dining, too! You can also whet your whistle with its assortment of local and craft beers. If you aren’t a beer drinker, the Ice House offers ciders, seltzers, wine, and non-alcoholic standards.
Don’t miss live music outside, and be sure to grab a treat for your pup! The menu includes a serving of pork rinds and brisket for your four-legged riding buddy.
Pollos Asados Los Nortenos
You’ll rarely find better Mexican restaurants in Texas than in San Antonio, and Pollos Asados Los Nortenos is no exception. This bar and restaurant features eclectic décor, ample seating, and hearty servings. The menu largely features chicken dishes with sides of rice and beans, but don’t let that stop you from trying a burger or steak fajitas.
Still, with “pollos asados” in the name, you won’t want to miss seeing the chefs cook your chicken on the massive grill. Don’t miss this amazing spot for Mexican food on your next ride through east San Antonio.
Tycoon Flats
Located on the northside of St. Mary’s Strip, Tycoon Flats offers an assortment of classic bar foods, including fried pickles, burgers, sandwiches, and shakes made with Blue Bell ice cream. Save room for dessert, because Tycoon Flats offers traditional favorites like a peach cobbler and bread pudding, and for a nominal charge, an upgrade to “a la mode” with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
This historic restaurant features some architectural remnants from its past as a 1920s service station, including the brick wall around the kitchen, the building façade, and the columns from the original covered drive-thru pump service.
Don’t miss out on happy hour every day from 3 to 6 p.m. Choose from an assortment of craft and draft beers, frozen drinks, cocktails, spirits, and wines. Tycoon Flats also offers rotating daily specials, so stop by for Moscow Mondays or Bartender’s Choice on Fridays.
Guajillo’s: The Shortcut to Mexico
Located on the north side of Connally Loop, this San Antonio Mexican restaurant offers traditional Tex Mex, including tacos, enchiladas, asado, and mole. Enjoy with an icy cold margarita, Mexican beer, or cocktail. Guajillo’s offers ample parking, so you won’t have to hide your bike in a corner.
This bike-friendly establishment is open for lunch or dinner, with a weekday lunch special menu. Guajillo’s offers traditional desserts, including flan, churros, and rice pudding.
The Original Blanco Café
The Blanco Café offers two locations, one downtown on St. Mary’s and a second on Fredericksburg Road. Parking for a motorcycle may be easier at the Fredericksburg Road location, but be sure to stop by the St. Mary’s site if you’re already downtown.
Get breakfast all day starting at 6 a.m. with chilaquiles, migas, or huevos rancheros. Check out their daily lunch specials for a deal, and don’t miss out on delicious tacos, fajitas, and chalupas any time (except for Sundays).
