With more than 40 years of legal experience, Lee Coleman has earned a reputation as one of the region’s most respected personal injury attorneys. Known for his deep understanding of injury law and his relentless advocacy, Lee has spent decades helping injured individuals and families regain control after life-changing accidents.

Lee earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville, launching his legal career with a strong foundation in public service. He began practicing as an Assistant County Attorney and Prosecutor in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he developed the courtroom confidence and case strategy skills that continue to define his work today.

In 1984, Lee took the next step in his career by establishing himself as a sole practitioner. Just one year later, he partnered with J. Marshall Hughes to open Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, a firm built on the belief that injured people deserve both fierce representation and genuine support. For the past 40 years, Lee has protected thousands of injured victims from being screwed by insurance companies and big corporations, guiding them through difficult moments with clarity, compassion, and steady legal leadership.

As a former owner of a Harley-Davidson Road Glide, he understands the freedom of life on two wheels and the risks riders face when sharing the road with distracted drivers in vehicles many times their size. That firsthand experience fuels his passion for protecting motorcyclists and holding negligent drivers accountable.
