About International Female Ride Day®

Vicki Gray created International Female Ride Day® (IFRD) in 2007 to get women out to “JUST RIDE!” ©, raising awareness for women riders in motorcycling and powersports globally. The organization strives with each IFRD event to:

  • Raise awareness for the number of women bikers and motorsports competitors
  • Inspire other women to begin riding
  • Celebrate women’s contributions to powersports and motorsports
  • Raise awareness for disparities in women’s roles in motorsports
  • Improve gender parity in motorcycling

Vicki Gray is the organizer and owner of IFRD and MOTORESS®, the online women’s motorcycling magazine. The first “JUST RIDE!” © event was held Friday, May 4, 2007, in Toronto, Canada. This year, women from over 120 countries will participate in the event.
