Redbirds Vision Track Day in Southern California on April 2

Track Day in Southern California

Have you always dreamed of ripping through challenging, windy canyon roads on your bike, but wish you could do so in a controlled environment? If so, Southern California Track Day is for you. Redbirds Vision will host two track days this year, the soonest being in early April in Southern California on Horse Thief Mile at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, CA.

Track Day Details

Highway 2 Track Days are fun, challenging events that allow experienced riders to sharpen their skills. The desert center mimics the feeling of riding through curvy, sharp, winding canyon roads in a controlled setting where riders can practice their technique.

While the day is reserved for more experienced riders, Redbirds still breaks up the riding sessions into skill levels to make it more accessible to all, including groups A, B, and C. Group C can take additional riding instructions at no additional charge.

Each group will enjoy 20 minutes on the track in intervals throughout the day from 9 a.m. to 5pm, totaling eight sessions.

Equipment Requirements

Because of the course’s steep 11% grade in certain areas and constant, tight turns, you must adhere to certain equipment requirements for safety purposes. You should not attend Southern California Track Day on a small bike that cannot handle the incline.

Here are the additional requirements:

  • One or two-piece leather or textile riding suit (not open mesh)
  • Full helmet
  • Gloves
  • Proper footgear
  • Good tires

The event costs $150 and will occur on April 2nd at this address: Willow Springs International Raceway, 3500 75th St W, Rosamond, CA, 93560.
