Top Dining Spots for Hungry Bikers at Sturgis Rally 2023

Sturgis Rally 2023

Every August, motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world take over Sturgis Rally, South Dakota. Sure, the bikes, camaraderie, and music are worth the trip, but have you heard about the food here?

Whether you’re an elite foodie or a meat and potatoes kind of person, there’s something for everyone  in Sturgis. Here are the top seven bars and restaurants to visit during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

1. One-Eyed Jack’s Saloon

This place is big, and the food is American-themed (of course) with a rustic vibe, impressive taxidermy, and a massive outdoor patio. Right on Main Street, the patio is an ideal spot for people watching and observing the rally events.

During the rally, you can grab a drink as early as 7am up until closing time at 2am. The food is nothing to sneeze at, either. The menu is extensive, and you can fill up your tank with salads, steaks, sandwiches, and more. There’s also a breakfast buffet to keep you fueled all day long.

2. The Knuckle Saloon

This iconic biker bar is the unofficial watering hole among Sturgis Rally attendees. Come anytime during the rally, and the bar will be packed to capacity with fellow attendees.

In addition to stiff drinks and an impressive beer collection, the pub also features a full food menu that includes burgers, flatbreads, and melts as well as healthier fare like salads. On your way out, don’t forget to visit the gift shop for souvenirs that will help you remember the trip of a lifetime.

3. Stage West Café

If you’d rather spend more time at the rally and less time planning three square meals, you’re going to love the convenience of Stage West Café. Breakfast starts at 7:30am and the last call for the dinner bell is at 11pm.

You can pre-order meals in advance and rally attendees are eligible for steep discounts with the Sturgis Rider® Meal Deal.

4. Rat’s Hole Bar

Don’t let the name fool you. You’re going to want to check this place out. The beer is cheap, and you can save even more by buying a 34-ounce insulated collectible mug for $12. This mug gets you refills of Coors and Bud for just $6 and $8. We’re no math whizzes, but that seems like the deal of the century.

The pub is also a favorite gathering for local artists, and the food is trendy. If you’re here on the weekend, brunch is a must-try.
