Congratulations to the winners of the Law Tigers Bedlam Bikes Contest during the last known game between the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Law Tigers, Fort Thunder Harley-Davidson® and South Side Sleds gave two fans their choice of a “Boomer Sooner” or “Pistols Firing” motorcycle in preparation of the big game Bedlam rivalry between University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University November 4, 2023.
Bedlam Bikes Contest winner Kenny Lovett was awarded the “Pistols Firing” Oklahoma State University Harley-Davidson, painted in Black and Orange Candy, at the start of the fourth quarter of the game. Pamela Sandusky was named the winner of the “Boomer Sooner” University of Oklahoma Harley-Davidson motorcycle, painted in Crimson and Cream Candy, during the Hall of Fame Block Party before the football game.
The motorcycles were part of the legacy of the last scheduled game between OSU and OU. Oklahoma University is moving to the SEC Conference in 2024, ending one of the longest continuous rivalries in college football that began in 1910, three years after Oklahoma became a state.
Josh Dewberry, Marketing Manager for Law Tigers in Oklahoma, said giveaways like the Bedlam Bike campaign gives visibility to the motorcycle community and all the positive things about it.
“Bike giveaways like this bring a lot of fun to the Law Tigers grassroots program,” Dewberry said. “Being able to give Oklahomans the opportunity to win motorcycles creates lifelong memories.”
And what was it like to watch the winners realize their names were called and they were now owners of new motorcycles? Dewberry said it was a privilege to be part of this instant celebration.
“Seeing the winners shock and surprise was incredible to witness and experience,” Dewberry said. “This is a memory that the winners, and myself will have for the rest of our lives.”
