  • The Griffith Observatory has appeared in countless movies over the years, most famously in Rebel Without a Cause.
  • The Sanctuary Adventist Church is better known as the iconic church from Kill Bill, but it has also appeared in True Confessions, Inferno, and Crossroads.
  • The Sherman Oaks Galleria is the mall seen in Fast Times at Ridgemont High as well as Terminator 2.
  • Venice Beach has appeared in many movies, from Point Break to American History X.
  • The LA River has been used as a backdrop in movies such as Grease, Point Break, Drive, and Terminator 2.
  • Union Station has been featured in The Way We Were, Blade Runner, Catch Me If You Can, and The Dark Knight Rises.
  • Point Dume can be seen in both the Big Lebowski and the old Planet of the Apes movies.
  • Mulholland Drive is the name of a David Lynch movie, and it also appears in the TV show Twin Peaks.
